Based on genetic information (pathogenic or likely pathogenic variant) patients can know if they have increased risk of developing Parkinson, Alzheimer and Dementia. Genetic information help physicians make better treatment and management choices. Patie

  Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

  • Urinary tract Infection (UTI) is the general term for an infection occurring anywhere in the urinary tract system. Over 150 million people worldwide will experience UTIs annually, with females four times more likely to get them than males

  • It is common for UTIs to be misdiagnosed; which places an extreme burden on the healthcare system

  • Data shows that UTIs are increasing due to multi drug-resistant pathogens due to over-prescription and widespread use of broad spectrum antibiotic therapy

    Traditional UTI Testing

  • 3-4 day turnaround time

  • 20-30% false negatives

  • 50% accuracy

  SureDx UTI Testing

  • Utilizes Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RPCR)

  • This technique identifies difficult to culture pathogens

  • Greater than 95% sensitivity and specificity

  • Identifies antibiotic resistance

  SureDx Wound Testing

  • Identifies causative organism/bacteria/pathogen by its DNA/RNA

  • Results available in 24-48 hours

  • Greater than 95% sensitivity and specificity

  • Reduced risk of specimen contamination

  • Identifies antibiotic resistance

 Wound Testing

  • Wound healing is a complex process in which the skin and deeper tissues repair themselves after injury. Normally, within the first few minutes of injury, platelets in the blood begin to stick to the injured site and activates a most complex but fragile healing process that is prone to interruption or failure leading to the formation of non-healing chronic wounds. Factors that contribute to non-healing chronic wounds are diabetes, venous or arterial disease, infection, and metabolic deficiencies of old age.

    Traditional Wound Testing

  • Based on culture testing

  • 25% inaccuracy of results

  • Cultures have limitations which render them almost irrelevant for the diagnosis of polymicrobial clinical and biofilm infections.

  Respiratory Pathogen Panel Testing

  • Upper Respiratory Infections (URI) are the most frequent infection in children in the US. Misdiagnosed and mistreated infections foster contagion, and can lead to hospitalizations and even death.

  • RPP Testing will identify secondary bacterial infections, which if left untreated, can be associated with serious outcomes such as death and admission to intensive care

     SureDx RPP Testing

  • Same day results of both the culture and the Antibiotic Resistance (ABR) Panel detect mixed or co-infections, and can effectively filter novel strains through sub-typing, mitigating the spread of viruses. Accurate detection enables health care providers to treat infections more quickly and precisely than any other screening method, resulting in better treatment outcomes – especially in children, and elderly or immunocompromised patients.
